Tailgate Recipes: My Mom's Chili

One Great Season

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- If you've ever been to my house on a weekend in the fall, chances are you've enjoyed my chili.

I actually call it My Mom's Chili. I have a T-shirt and everything.

Anyway, until now, I've never disclosed the secret ingredient that I add into the chili late in the game. You'll just have to watch this very high-quality video to find out what it is.

But on a serious note, this is a great recipe, and now that we're officially into October, what better combination is there this time of year than football and chili?

"We'll just have to use that and see how it works out, cuz I don't have time to go back to the store." classic..

OMFG. Kudos on the Bud.

Oh, and "on-camera eye candy" and "onegreatseason production team" = PRICELESS.

I beg to differ, John. I believe you are an artist. You and your chili belong in a gallery with your lovely photos... oh wait... did I state the obvious again... rock on! I am ssssssseriously wondering if you are on the way to Flavortown with that bad boy recipe... perhaps you should submit it to the Food Network.

P.S. If you ever need a t-shirt designer, I might know someone. :)
