Taco Mac in Atlanta? Maybe the one on Highland Ave in the Virginia Highlands...but in the boonies outside the perimeter on Roswell Rd? that's a huge fail. Dozens of better places in the heart of the city to watch college football.

Goalie, that's a good tip. I changed it to the V Highlands location. Thanks.

Kam's in Champaign? Only about 10 better places.

September 3, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterMick

Thanks Mick. Why not drop me the one you think is the best?

McDuffy's in Tempe has been closed for almost 5 years. Check out Casey Moores, 9th and Ash

September 3, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterWVU AZ

Great research! McDuffy's in Tempe closed ages ago! Casey Moore's is a good bar, but not for sports. Try Native New Yorker at 50th and Ray. Great atmosphere, great wings.

Nowhere bar in Athens, GA is a weak choice also. Great dive bar, but not even close to the best place to watch a football game.

September 3, 2010 | Unregistered Commenterugadawg

No PIttsburgh? The whole d@m^ town is a bar!

September 3, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterJason

How 'bout a little help then, uga? Got any suggestion? And thanks for the Tempe tips, Boyle & WVU!

September 3, 2010 | Registered CommenterJohn P. Wise

Jason, feel free to share a Pittsburgh suggestion or two!

September 3, 2010 | Registered CommenterJohn P. Wise

For your Philadelphia pick, I have to disagree with you about Smokey Joe's. It's a terrible place to watch sports when you compare it to a better option right down the road called Cavanaugh's [119 South 39th Street]. Cav's has approximately 6 billion televisions, and it's where we would always go to watch football and hockey games, especially out-of-market ones.

No Seattle? Really? Ames, Pullman, Lawrence but no Seattle? Lame

September 3, 2010 | Unregistered Commenterjohn

Corey, this is a fluid situation and I'm def open to making changes! And Philly actually was between Joe's and Cavanaugh's. I'll consider the change! And John, how about a suggestion for Seattle please? Thanks man.

A list of bars without any mention of new orleans? shame on you

September 3, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterWHO DAT

A collection of commenters who can't suggest one freaking bar in their beloved city is equally criminal! C'mon, Who Dat, gimme a bar!

September 3, 2010 | Registered CommenterJohn P. Wise

Cooter Brown's, The Bulldog (uptown or midcity), Fat Harry's, The Balcony. We might need our own list

September 3, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterWHO DAT

You should include Tony P's in Marina del Rey, CA. Packed on Saturdays, Gator alumni bar but lots of other fans from all over the country. Over 40 beers on tap, plus tons of craft bottles. And right on the marina, so can check out the boats and enjoy the weather at half time. :)
